‘Twas The Knife Before Christmas

With the summer fast becoming a distant memory, what better way to embrace the changing seasons than to spend our Tuesday evenings singing Christmas songs and ‘murdering’ our fellow performers at the village hall

‘Twas the Knife Before Christmas is a murder mystery which features an am-dram group who are rehearsing for their upcoming show. But as they prepare to welcome back a previous member who is now a big Broadway star, things inevitably don’t quite go to plan and they have a murder on their hands which requires the services of Inspector Krachett and you, our astute audience, to solve the mystery. But this show has more twists than your usual ‘who dunnit’ murder mystery because as well as piecing the clues together to solve the murder (or murders!) and find the murderer (or murderers!), you’ll also be treated to fantastically festive musical numbers, top-class comedy from our wonderful compère duo, and a delicious array of snacks, cakes and joyous treats to get you in the festive spirit just in time for Christmas.

Tickets are £10 each, and performances are on Friday 15th and Saturday 16th December at 7.30pm. As always, you can expect a top-class evening of entertainment, cabaret-style seating, a very reasonably priced bar, and a show-stopping raffle. Tickets are available through our website ensembletc.com.

And although the show is cast, we can always find space for any budding performers as part of the ensemble musical numbers, and we always welcome more hands backstage with scenery, stage management and tech support, as well as front of house.
