Genealogy

your village, your family history

I am currently researching the ‘old’ family names of Fleckney.
So, if your ancestors were local to Fleckney please get in touch.

research@fleckney.online

I have been researching family history for many years. Not only my own family, but also those of friends and neighbours.

Harald Blaatand (Bluetooth) King of Denmark

Sometimes it is surprising what can turn up. The family tree at the top of this page is part of that of Harald Blaatand (Harold Bluetooth). Check him out on Wikipedia. He is the 30 x great-grandfather of my sister’s husband!

If your ancestors are from the UK there is a good chance they can be traced at least up to the 1841 census. In many cases, depending on the popularity of their surnames, the research can be extended even further. Probably not quite as far as King Harald above, who was born about 910, as not all history is as well documented as the Danish and Norwegian royalty!

So, if you would like me to have a bash at looking up your family history, send me as much information about your parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, as you can muster up. Rough dates and places of birth, marriage, and death will, of course, make the research easier. As will any notable events or occupation. All information will be kept strictly confidential and will not be published without your express consent.

If you would like me to upload your family tree information (for free) on my own website, The Williams Family Tree, then I would be happy to do so. Otherwise, all information will be kept strictly confidential and will not be published without your prior consent.
