Charity Event

November last year saw Fleckney born and bred Michael Marlow lose his twelve-year battle with kidney cancer, and it is this reason why I’m holding a charity event in memory of this fine man.

The charities benefitting will be Marie Curie Nurses, who played such an important and supportive role for Louisa, Jessie and Alfie, with GEMS, who support all people with all cancers, being the other charity.

Sat 10th June at The Old Crown, Fleckney, will see an afternoon of live music, craft stalls, BBQ, bouncy castle, cake stall, tombola, raffle, and other attractions yet to be confirmed.

To date, there are approximately 20 quality craft stalls attending with a wide range of home-made products, all at affordable prices.

The BBQ will be managed by our very own master chef Mr. Si Hogan, who is keen and eager to tantalise your taste buds.

Also, let’s not forget about our cake stall. This is generally well represented with coutless choices of mouth-watering delicacies, and I’m hoping for the same again… please, pretty please!

So if you wish to support our charity event by donations, raffle prizes, etc… please don’t hesitate to contact me via Facebook, jeff62@hotmail.co.uk, or 07874226051.
