Hart of Fleckney Bowls Club is a thriving and very friendly club and always happy to welcome new members. We have members at all levels of skill and welcome bowlers from complete beginners to experienced players. If you are already a bowler, we are a very active club with 4 league teams in 2 leagues as well as 2 friendly
teams and a Ladies friendly team as well as our own internal league on Monday evenings. If you are a beginner or new to bowling, we will be very pleased to get you started playing this simple to learn game and provide coaching and casual games so that you can practice your new skills without any pressure. Or, you if just want to come and have a go or find out more about us, then you can come along to our weekly club sessions (roll ups), meet some of us, and have a go. They are every Tuesday and Thursday 2-4pm and you can come along to 3 of these FREE to see if you like the game and the club. Just turn up or contact us on hartoffleckneybc@gmail.com. You don’t even need any equipment or special clothing to get started just some flat footwear like trainers. We will provide all the rest.

The New Bowling Season
starts on April 11th. If you are looking for a new sports challenge come and give bowls a go
Not long now to the start of the bowls season. If you are looking for a summer sport now that football and rugby, cold days and dark evenings are nearly over why not come along
and give it a go. The balls are bigger than in cricket and no one is chucking one at you at 50mph and there’s none of that chasing
balls for miles to the boundary every few minutes. Plus, a game takes a lot less time than a round of golf without all the stress about your swing and no chance of losing your balls. Bowls combines fierce competitiveness with a strong sense of sociability and is great fun that includes the essential licensed bar and plenty of cups of tea.
