The Queen’s Head

We are excited to introduce you to the Vikings Table restaurant, proudly located within the Queen’s Head pub in Saddington. Although we’ve been here for just six months, we have quickly established ourselves as a vibrant destination with a truly unique offering.

At Vikings Table, we specialize in street food and host various engaging events, all complemented by our ever-changing à la carte menu, refreshed every six to eight weeks. Our current culinary theme draws inspiration from the rich flavours of Irish and Caribbean cuisine, ensuring there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

We are proud to partner with local businesses, including Revival Run, Joseph Morris Butchers, Sunnydale Farm, and Bailey’s Wistow Garden Centre, which helps us bring fresh and high-quality ingredients to our dishes. Additionally, we are thrilled to announce the upcoming opening of our Garden Deli, which will feature a bar for those lovely warmer months.

Our resident vendors, Wigston deli feature every Tuesday in the rear carpark offering freshly cooked authentic Indian cuisine, which include curry pots that you can enjoy on the terrace or takeaway from 4pm-8pm.

For families, we will soon install a new children’s play area, replacing the previous one that was condemned. Our venue is also available for hire for weddings, parties, celebrations, and farewells, making it the perfect spot for any gathering.

We invite you to join us for our exciting Bike Nights every Friday evening at 6 PM, and we welcome ramblers, crafters, and various other groups. To accommodate all our guests, we now offer smaller plates at reduced rates for seniors.
