Charity Fun Day – Cancelled

Dear all,

I’ve remained as optimistic as possible and hoped the restrictions would have been lifted by now but they haven’t due to many selfish numpties who wouldn’t adhere to the Governments simple guidelines. Therefore, I’m left with no choice but to cancel next months charity event 😔

I’m totally gutted as much work has gone into this project already. Not just by me but Paul Bolger, Andrew Savage and Nick Plews who organised a full days worth of live music in the beer garden by local musicians and Sam Green @ Sams GRAFIX who designed the posters and sponsor forms in readiness. Also Paula Louise Townsend, the landlady of the Old Crown, who was totally on board with this project and ready to support it fully. Not to mention the numerous individuals who offered their help and support on the day.

I promise that next year the two charities, who would’ve benefitted, Gems Charity Leicestershire and Debbie Dickman @ LOROS will again be my two named charities to benefit. Let’s hope we can make it bigger and better to make up for this year.
