DESCRIPTION:The Fleckney Walking Club meet every other Sunday for a walk of about 8 to 9 miles (usually with a pub stop somewhere along the route). We meet at the Scout Hut Car Park, High Street, Fleckney, by 9:30 a.m. https://w3w.co/loses.always.huts\nYou are advised to wear good quality walking boots and carry weatherproof clothing. We suggest you also bring refreshments as a coffee stop is also usually on the cards.\nDuring the Summer, we have short walks of about 4 to 5 miles on Thursday evenings. These walks usually start and finish at a pub. We meet by 7:00 p.m. at the Scout Hut Car Park, High Street, Fleckney, for these walks.\nWe also have 3 weekends away, at various locations, usually in May, July, and September. Some of us stay on campsites, some in B&B, some in hotels. There are usually short walks on the Friday and Sunday and a longer one on the Saturday.\nThe annual cost to join the Fleckney Walking Club is £10 (Sundays and Thursdays) or £5 (Thursdays only) payable on your first walk.\nFor more details about the Club our website is at https://walking.fleckney.online and our Calendar of future walks is at https://walking.fleckney.online/gcal/\n
